I am a DPhil candidate at the University of Oxford, based at the Big Data Institute, where my research focuses on machine learning and genomics. My doctoral studies are supported by the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Healthcare Data Science.
Prior to commencing my DPhil, I completed an MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Imperial College London and a BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh. I subsequently worked as a Data Scientist at J.P. Morgan, within the Applied AI & ML team.
My research focuses on developing machine learning models for genomics and drug discovery. I am particularly interested in representation learning: methods for learning structured, meaningful representations of biological systems that are better suited to scientific discovery.
